The Data Center created a dispatch and billing system for foreign language translators developed in MS Access.

Capabilities

Manages an extensive list of translators with multiple languages willing to work in certain locations on certain days and times with differing certification requirements. The system ranks interpreters based on prior work reviews.

Provides detailed tracking of who, when and where for clients and translators. Bulk email notifications of available jobs for qualified translators. A flexible invoice and payables system supports individual price lists based on client contractual agreements.

A dispatch system requires careful design to allow the dispatcher to create new dispatches and quickly answer any questions a client may have about their appointment while on the phone.
